I listed the free categories to get some readers here who don’t visit otherwise. There is a way to get 2 free files or more from this blog post. Read the whole post to find out how.
It’s the last day to save 40% on everything in the store for the May Birthday Sale. The next big store-wide sale probably won’t be until November. I promised a free file to anyone who spent at least $23 in the store in May and I have that pre-tallied. Some of you are within one file of making that total! Others of you have doubled it so you’ll be getting two files, lol. Hurry! Shop! Tomorrow I will email those who get free files and ask you which file(s) you want for free.
Here is my favorite of the day, made with Esther in mind
Don’t buy this Esther! I’m sending it to you! Please feel free to email me with edgie or other file ideas. I have a long list but I’m on a creative spurt and going to keep going until I have to go out of town again later next week.
Here are some 5×5 (approx.) versions for my square-card makers! You can’t just resize some of those 8×8s to make them smaller, you have to cut them smaller in Inkscape so they will cut correctly. I love the look of square cards, I just rarely make them b/c they cost extra on postage. I should make them more often…I get so tired of looking at A2s. These of course are awesome for 6×6 scrapbookers, and can be used as photo mats for other sizes of scrapbooks, plus PNGs always included for myself and other digi-scrappers.
And here are a few more 8×8s – my faves. I like them b/c you can use them as is on a large page, cut them into pieces for using on cards, or resize them to 12″ if your machine will cut that large.
It’s also the last day of the month to wish me a happy birthday (I turned 43 on the 23rd) by leaving me a blog comment and I’ll send you the panda card file for free.

Bless you Mary! I love the card you made with me in mind
.
I’m so happy you made the 5×5 designs – I’ll be shopping for them in a few minutes. On the square postage thing, could you put the card and envelope inside another ‘regulation’ size envelope (like 5×7 or 6×9)and avoid the extra postage (as long as that doesn’t make it much heavier)?
Thanks for pointing out that you could cut the 8×8s into pieces to use on cards. I never thought of that! Opens up a whole new world of possibilities, LOL.

Okay, was just at the store and I have a couple of suggestions:
1) Army Women – my cousin, Denise is in Afghanistan.
2) I LOVE the Big Sister, Little Brother – how about some variations. Big Brother, Little Brother and Big Brother and Little Sister (think that about covers it). Hope your birthday was extra special!

I have a whole bunch of military files I keep forgetting to do…thanks for the reminder.
The variations on the siblings is a great idea – I can do that. I just went to work on it and the original old file needs tweaking – I wasn’t so good at Inkscape way back then! Going to remove it from the store until I get it fixed.
Thank you for the suggestions!
