I love to give files away for free.
I do not love somebody else giving away my files for free without my permission.
I do not mind a single link to my blog, my website, or my store. These are great! Showing something you made using one of my files on your blog or a message board is great! Recommending me to others is great!
However, taking partial content of my website and incorporating it into another website is not allowed. Uploading my files in any forum or to any website is not allowed. Uploading my images and then linking to my website is not allowed.
You should not be able to find any file of mine anywhere on the internet except for my store, my website, or my blog (and these three are all interconnected).
The ONLY reason I make and share files is because I love my blog readers and they asked me to keep making them. I do not have files posted on any message boards or groups or sites that sell files anywhere anymore. I only sell files to help pay for my large website so that I can continue to give away free files and do so without advertisements or external download sites.
I get really, really tired of having my generosity abused.
Please help stop it if you see it happening. I really don’t want to have to stop giving away free files. I might have to do something, though. I am really tired of this. I had to put the freebie tags on here b/c some people never come to the blog unless there is something free. It might be time to start my blog and website over and keep it private…

I am SO sorry to hear that this is happening again…Please keep your files available. Maybe keeping it private will be the answer, but I will be so distressed to lose your talents. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

It seems to happen so often – talented people like yourself generously offer their files and others take advantage. I for one am delighted to purchase and I’m sure many others feel exactly the same. Many thanks.

I agree with the first two responses. I am so sorry to hear it is happening again. I don’t post often but I do check daily to see if anything is happening in your life-good things and prayer needs too. I hope you don’t have to go private. I do enjoy the files occasionally but know that it must be a lot of work and understand if you have to do it.

I am so sorry this is happening. I just don’t understand people abusing generosity. I LOVE getting your free files and I LOVE purchasing from your store to help support you and your generosity. I hope a reasonable solution can be found, I’d hate to see you close up shop.

I’m am so sorry to here this is happening. You are so talented and we appreciate your sharing of your talent when we don’t have that talent. Your terms are so simple and reasonable, I don’t understand someone abusing them.

Mary, I’m sorry to hear that this is happening to you again. I love getting your freebies but am more than happy to buy them. So, I hope you don’t give up designing because I’d much rather have purchase-only files than no files.

Just letting you know I second all the comments above! You do great work and to share freely is a gift of love. So sorry it is being abused!! I for one would purchase them if it came to that. Your generosity during your birthday month has allowed me to buy so many and then reintroducing old files that I know I don’t have as been awesome! Thanks, Mary, for such a giving heart!!

I also agree with everyone, it is such a shame that there are people out there which are I am sure are the minority, spoiling things for the majority. I do hope you keep up the good work as I too love your files. All the best with whatever you decide Mary and many thanks for all your hard work. You are a very talented lady.

I am sorry that this is happening to you. It is like a fever that spreads and spoils the enjoyment of people that just wish to share their craft. It is a shame that the greed of the few spoil it for the many.

i don’t have a blog, website but I do have a wish blade and a gazelle which I am trying to learn but meanwhile I use free files or buy files for my pages Mary has made some special ones for me, look at her yorkie ones, I buy Marys files and other people files that I need, since I am not talented and can’ make my own yet,one of these days I will but till then I need these talented people. I love free files, too,but give credit to these talented people that make them. I belong to several groups which I pay a members fee for 3 months of files they create. I realize you have crooks everywhere, but to pass off files knowing they belong to someone I despise people like that.
we love you Mary, your stories, and your files. I am a military brat, my dad was in the air force and we traveled to different countries with him. I loved it all.

I just found your website and I love it. I just purchased the cricut some three weeks ago as well as Sure Cuts A Lot. I love the program and all the tutorials. I really like you SVG files. I was delighted to see that not everything was about children. I immediatly purchased 6 items. I am not one bit dissapointed. I have read the blogs others have writen. I too am saddened that there are people whom abuse a kindness. Please don’t be saddened. I have gotten one freebie and it is as nice as the ones you sell. I thank you. I hope you are smiling I am. wow, i was once an airforce wife. it is not always fun but a lot of what we did we could not have if it wasn’t for the military. anyway, i have never blogged so please bare with me. i just want to say how much i appreciate your files that are easy for a beginner to access and use. thanks, bonnie
