I’m done with heart files for a while.  I had several other files in progress but am bummed about hubby being gone so I’m skipping Valentine’s Day this year.  Army wives can do that – skip holidays if they wish.  I have decided that six months is the longest I can stand it with hubby gone.  Every minute after that is just awful.  First few weeks are bad, next few months are kind of fun, everything after the six month mark is bad.  It’s part of it, though, and I love the whole concept of army wife, so I deal with it.

As promised, the next batch of files to be uploaded are furbaby files.  Lots of requests for Yorkie files, so getting those out of the way first.  If we ever get another dog it will probably be a Pug – I just love those crinkled faces and that snorting, lol.  Never had a Pug, or a Yorkie – can’t pay that much money for a dog.  Kat really wants a Pug, though, so it might be a birthday gift later this year…  Friends have Yorkies, my sister has a Yorkie (a really bouncy one!), and they are almost as cute as cats, so I like them.  Bunnies and cats would never let me get a dog, don’t know what I’m thinking.  As much as I love them I won’t ever get more bunnies, though.  They eat the walls!  And the furniture!  I’m too much of a sap to keep them in a cage, just can’t do it.  They hate it so I hate it.  With the youngest almost grown I’m ready to start getting “real” furniture and can’t do that with bunnies.  Speaking of eating things, Kat’s cat, Pipkin, likes to bite holes in bottles.  Who knows why.  If you leave a water bottle or a soda bottle or any kind of plastic bottle out where he can get it he will bite holes in it.  He ate my lotion bottle in my room!  Bedside table had a big pile of lotion under the lotion bottle and when we picked it up it was oozing.  Crazy cat.  Already have boxes of those rubber baseboards ready to replace these when we move b/c the bunnies have eaten all the ones upstairs.  Oh, they eat electrical cords, too.  Not sure how they live through that but they do.  We buy electrical tape and replacement cords a LOT.  We’re all getting pretty good at replacing electrical cords to objects now.  At least bunnies don’t bark.  If they aren’t stomping their feet they are very quiet.  They do glare a lot if they are mad.  Kind of scary.  Lots of neighbors left their dogs outside last night during the ice and freezing rain and snow…poor dogs howled all night long.  I hate this neighborhood.  Lots of trashy people in army housing, sad to say, and almost everybody except us has a dog in the backyard.  Neighbor boy lets his dog (that lives in the house at least) poop in my front yard.  If I can catch him doing it I am so tattle-telling on him.  His dad is a good guy and always picks up the poop no matter where it goes and he will bust some butt on that boy.  Mean neighbor across the street used to let her dog loose to try to eat my cat.  Hubby confronted her and she just said she didn’t like cats.  Well, I don’t like people who let their dogs eat cats but you don’t see me chasing her around!  I don’t like the neighborhood stray cats, either.  People who don’t get their animals fixed or vaccinated really irk me.  I swear every unfixed cat for miles around likes to come pee in my yard.  I’m not sure why, all my babies are fixed, even (and especially) the bunnies.  Okay, enough griping and complaining for now.  Not sure where that came from, it just typed itself out!

Yorkie puppy file is one I made from an actual photograph.  Quite excited that I learned how to do that.  Smallest I could get it to cut is 5″ high, but it will fit on a card for my cardmaker readers.  Lots more than normal nodes in this file for those of you who check – had to leave them to get the furry look.  This file actually took weeks to make b/c I was learning as I went to make the file from the photo.  Finally done, test cut great, uploaded and blogged.  Thank you to my volunteers to test cut, btw.  ;-)
